1、 What are the soy products available
Bean products are food products made from beans such as soybeans, adzuki beans, mung beans, peas, and broad beans as the main raw materials. Most bean products are tofu and its reproductions made from the solidified surface of soybean milk. At present, soybean products are mainly divided into two categories, namely fermented soybean products and non fermented soybean products.
1. Non fermented bean products refer to bean curd made from soybeans or other miscellaneous beans, or bean products made from bean curd by processing technology such as brine, fried brine, smoking, drying, etc., such as shredded bean curd, dried bean curd, bean curd skin, Rolls of dried bean milk creams, plain ham, etc.
2. Fermented soybean products are bean products, such as Fermented bean curd, fermented soybeans, sour soybean milk, etc.
2、 Who can't eat soy products
1. Children. Children should try to eat less soy products and not overdo them. Because soy products are high calcium foods, excessive consumption can lead to high calcium levels in the blood, which can hinder the body's absorption of zinc and result in a relatively low zinc content. Zinc deficiency in the human body can lead to decreased appetite and slow development, which is detrimental to children's physical and mental health. In addition, excessive consumption of tofu can also lead to precocious puberty in children.
2. Elderly people. The kidney function of elderly people is relatively weak. If they consume a large amount of soy products, they will inevitably consume excessive plant-based proteins, leading to the production of more nitrogen-containing waste in the body, increasing the burden on the kidneys, and leading to kidney function decline.
3. Gout patients. The pathogenesis of gout is a disorder in purine metabolism, and soy products contain a high amount of purine, which can have adverse effects on the body. Therefore, gout patients should eat less or no soy products.
4. Acute pancreatic patients. When acute pancreatic disease occurs, avoid consuming soy products that can stimulate gastrointestinal and pancreatic secretion.
5. Kidney disease patients. Kidney disease patients should consume foods that are rich in essential amino acids rather than low in essential amino acids. Compared to animal protein, soy products contain more non essential amino acids, so it is recommended to avoid eating as much as possible.
6. Diabetic patients. When the blood urea nitrogen of diabetic patients increases, the consumption of soybean products will increase the nitrogen content, so they should fast.
7. Patients with stomach diseases. Insulin inhibin in soy products is not beneficial for patients with stomach diseases, and high levels of purine can promote gastric juice secretion, causing symptoms such as gastrointestinal bloating.
Although soy products are rich in nutrients, they are not necessarily beneficial or suitable for everyone. So, choosing to consume in moderation and avoiding excessive amounts is the scientific way to eat.
